Mechanical Poet这个名字就很有意思,大多数人更喜欢称他们的音乐为"儿童金属"。与传统重型音乐相比，Mechanical Poet的音乐中有着更多丰富乐器的修饰和具有流行素质的作曲。他们那多元化的演奏形式形成了自己独特而有趣的音乐风格。
《Woodland Prattlers》与《Creepy Tales For Freaky Childr》两张专集整体建立在Heavy因素之上，古灵精怪的演奏极富节奏感，给人一丝诙谐的感觉同时有着委婉动听的梦幻般抒情旋律，空灵的键盘更是注重营造出一种雾似的童话氛围。
这是两张令人心情愉快的Progressive音乐，完全可以用做动画片的原声音乐.我想Mechanical Poet的风格在重金领域也可算做罕见了。
